This piece was an experiment/challenge. The multiple layers of reflections through the boat from an outside deck were so confusing that I couldn't even tell what I was looking at in my reference shots. I worked from approximately six different images in order to create this panel. My aim was to replicate the somewhat unconscious way we process complexity - in that we don't, unless it's imperative. Much of the time we keep stimuli on the periphery as we head through our day.
