Peripheral Vision is an extension of my lifetime body of contemporary urban landscape/streetscape painting.
The title alludes to the shared experience of passing through with a trust and knowledge of the geography, neighborhoods and traffic.
Familiarity without conscious examination streamlines our daily missions. Peripheral Vision is an attentive, sidelong glance from the center.
My intent is to sharpen focus on some of these ephemeral moments. The mundane and barely noticeable can be poetic, defining, universal when acknowledged and shared.
